Got fake Aadhaar cards for just Rs. 100, say Pakistanis
The three Pakistanis who were arrested in Bengaluru last week stated that they procured fake identifying documents including fake Aadhaar cards for just Rs. 100 each.
Upon interrogation, they told police that the fake Aadhaar cards were procured from a middleman in Banashankari in south Bangalore.
The said the cards were issued to them in January this year.
Aadhaar would make getting other IDs easier
The four told police that they were attempting to procure other identification documents like voter IDs and ration cards. However, they decided that getting fake Aadhaar cards first would make getting other IDs much simpler.
