As an addition to its portfolio of mid-range smartphones, Xiaomi has launched the Mi A3 in India.
Starting at Rs. 12,999, the handset will be up for grabs via Amazon, Mi e-store, and Mi Home stores starting 12 pm on August 23.
As for key highlights, the phone sports a dewdrop notched design, Super AMOLED display, triple rear cameras, and mid-level internals.
Up front, the Mi A3 sports a dewdrop notched design with an ultra-slim bezel at the bottom. On the rear, the glass panel with gradient design houses triple cameras and an LED flash.
The smartphone features a 6.01-inch Super AMOLED display with HD+ (720 x 1560 pixels) resolution, 19.5:9 aspect ratio, an under-display fingerprint sensor, and Gorilla Glass 5 protection.
In terms of optics, the Mi A3 houses a triple rear camera setup comprising a 48MP (f/1.8) main sensor, 8MP (f/2.2) ultra-wide-angle sensor, and a 2MP (f/2.4) depth sensor.
The handset sports a 32MP (f/2.0) front-facing snapper for selfies, video calling and face unlock.
Further, the main camera supports 4K video recording at 30fps, while the selfie camera can record 1080p videos at 30fps.
The Mi A3 is powered by a Snapdragon 665 octa-core processor, coupled with upto 6GB RAM and upto 128GB of expandable storage.
Under the hood, it runs on stock Android Pie and packs a 4,030mAh battery that offers 18W fast charging support.
Lastly, it offers latest connectivity options including support for dual-SIMs (Nano), VoLTE, dual-band Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 5.0, USB Type-C port, and headphone jack.
The Mi A3 costs Rs. 12,999 for the entry-level 4GB/64GB model and Rs. 15,999 for 6GB/ 128GB variant.
Buyers can avail Rs. 750 cashback on payments using HDFC Bank cards along with additional Rs. 250 off on EMI transactions, and double data benefits from Airtel with Rs. 249 recharge.
Lastly, it will lock horns with Vivo Z1 Pro, Realme 5 Pro, and OPPO K3.
