Motorola's all-new RAZR foldable phone, which recently went on sale in the US in an all-black finish, will soon arrive in a new color option.
The company has confirmed that it would launch a Blush Gold variant of the handset sometime around Spring. The new model is expected to feature the same specifications and the same $1,500 price tag as the Noir Black version.
The Blush Gold variant will have a dual-tone design
According to an official render shared by Motorola, the Blush Gold variant of the RAZR will have a dual-tone design.
For the most part, the handset will have a black finish except for the back panel, the base, and the fingerprint reader which will feature a gold finish. Moreover, the outer camera will also have a gold ring around it.
Not everything looks rosy for the RAZR
Like the existing model, the blush gold RAZR will come with a 6.2-inch flexible OLED panel with HD+ (2142x876 pixels) resolution and a 21:9 aspect ratio. On the outside, there will be a 2.7-inch Quick View display for accessing notifications, music, and calls.
In the days of multiple and mighty camera sensors, the foldable RAZR comes with a single 16MP (f/1.7) main camera and another 5MP selfie camera housed in the notch of the internal screen. But let's be real, you're not buying the phone for its cameras.
Under the hood
The Motorola RAZR is powered by a mid-range Snapdragon 710 processor which debuted in 2018. As for memory and storage, it gets 6GB of RAM, and 128GB of built-in storage.
Under the hood, the handset packs a 2,510mAh battery with 15W fast charging. As for connectivity, it gets support for NFC, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 5.0, and a Type-C port for charging and audio output.
