A purported obscene video of Pakistani cricketer Shaheen Afridi is going viral on social media. The video, which allegedly shows Afridi masturbating on a video call, was shared by a Twitter account previously believed to belong to TikTok star Hareem Shah.
However, the veracity of the video has come into question after Shah revealed that she doesn't have a Twitter account.
Here is more.
The video was tweeted by the Twitter handle @iHareemShah with the caption, "Here is the video. The cricketer who was masturbating on live video call. Its' #ShaheenAfridi. He said he wanted to talk..Few mins later, he started showing his private part. Is it right?"
However, the video was later removed and the account was made private.
After the video went viral, Shah clarified that she does not have a Twitter account.
In a video statement, Shah clarified that the only two social media channels where she appears are TikTok and Instagram.
Shah categorically stated that any and all other accounts in her name on other social media platforms are fake.
Afridi, however, has not responded to the video yet.

News of Shaheen Afridi's alleged scandal comes after nude photos of Pakistani singer Rabi Pirzada were leaked online.
Reportedly, Pirzada, who is known in India for threatening Prime Minister Narendra Modi, had an argument with Pakistan Army spokesperson Major General Asif Ghafoor before her nude photos were leaked.
However, officially no link between the two events has been established.
Afridi had a decent outing in the ICC World Cup 2019, claiming 16 wickets in five matches, at an average of 14.62. His best performance (6/35) came against Bangladesh, and in the process, he became the youngest bowler to claim a five-for in CWC.
