Former champions Liverpool are in the form of the decade as they are currently on an unbeaten run and look favorites to win the Premier League this season.
However, they would be up for a big clash, as they face defending champions Manchester City, next week, at Anfield.
Commenting on Mane, Guardiola accused him of diving.
However, he was quick to backtrack, as he also praised him by calling him a special talent.
"It has happened many times, what Liverpool have done, in the last few years, it's because [Mane] is a special talent. Sometimes he's diving, sometimes he has this talent to score incredible goals in the last minute," Guardiola said.
Immediately following Guardiola's comments, Liverpool fans took it to social media to mock him.
While a few labeled him as a fool and an idiot, many also put forward the fact that City players, too, have been accused of diving over the years.
Meanwhile, few have opined that Guardiola is under real pressure ahead of the tie, as he is stirring a war.
Pep Guardiola is becoming an idiot. That’s why we’re so glad we have a classy person like Jurgen Klopp.#LFC— Muhammad A Ali (@MuhammadAAli17) November 3, 2019

Considering the performance of both the teams this week, it has been a hard-fought one.
As for Liverpool, they were trailing 0-1 against Aston Villa, before Andy Robertson and Mane scored within the span of closing five minutes, to hand them the win.
City, on the other hand, too were trailing 0-1, before Sergio Aguero and Kyle Walker pulled one back each.
Following are some of the records held by Sadio Mane:
- He is the highest goal-scorer from Senegal in the EPL (72).
- He is the highest away goal-scorer for Liverpool in the UEFA Champions League, with seven-plus goals.
- He is also the highest goal-scorer from Senegal in a single EPL season (22 goals).
Meanwhile, Liverpool manager Jurgen Klopp was all happy with the win, terming it satisfying, besides praising the winner off a corner-kick, a hard work that paid off.
"It was not because we have had a couple of comebacks in other games, you just have to keep on trying because we could have had another one today," said Klopp, following their win over Villa.
