As India look clear favorites to win the tie, the visitors would be wary of the deadly spin duo of Ravichandran Ashwin and Ravindra Jadeja.
Meanwhile, Mohammad Mithun has revealed how the side aims to counter the duo.
Mithun said that the tips from batting coach Neil McKenzie could come in handy in handling the duo, as they are wary of the spinners coming into effect from Day 3.
"We are working on some technical aspects keeping our focus on how to handle them. Let the technical things remain inside the dressing room," said Mithun, reports PTI.
"We are looking at our strength more than focusing on their weakness because no team could do well against them at their home. We are looking forward to doing well here. Obviously, it won't be easy and we need to work really hard," added Mithun.
Mithun also expressed his confidence in the young bowling unit of the side in the series, claiming that they have the ability to claim the 20 Indian wickets.
"Any batsman can get out anytime. If we can bowl as a unit with the discipline, I feel we can pick 20 wickets," Mithun said.
"Our players had that belief [performing in T20Is]. We are disappointed that we could not win the last game [in Nagpur] despite creating chances at the same time. Now, we are looking forward to doing well in Test series," concluded Mithun.
Following the suspension of regular Test skipper Shakib Al Hasan, Mominul Haque would lead Bangladesh in the upcoming Tests, which also includes the first-ever Day-Night Test for both the sides.
Bangladesh Test squad: Shadman Islam, Imrul Kayes, Liton Das, Mominul Haque (c), Mushfiqur Rahim (wk), Mahmudullah, Mosaddek Hossain, Mehedy Hasan, Taijul Islam, Mustafizur Rahman, Nayeem Hasan, Saif Hassan, Ebadat Hossain, Al-Amin Hossain, Mohammad Mithun.
