Windies beat India in 2nd T20I: Here're the records broken

Windies came up with a fine batting performance to tame hosts India in the second T20I at the Greenfield International Stadium in Thiruvananthapuram on Sunday.
Batting first, India posted a total of 170/7.
However, opener Lendl Simmons hit a fine half-century to help the side to stay alive in the series.

Kohli surpasses Rohit Sharma to become highest T20I run-scorer
The cat and mouse game seems to continue between Kohli and Indian opener Rohit Sharma, as the former has, once again, gone past the latter to become the highest run-scorer in T20Is. While Rohit has scored 2,562, Kohli is currently on 2,563.
Dube scores his third 50-plus score in limited-overs this year
Dube scored his maiden T20I half-century off just 27 balls, including a couple of fours and four sixes.
As he was dismissed for 54, he, in the process, scored his third 50-plus score in the white-ball format this year, having previously scored an unbeaten 79 and 118.
Notably, his previous two 50-plus scores came in List A ties.

Lewis scripts a unique record
Windies opener Evin Lewis put up a good show as smashed three sixes in the tie.
In the process, he has become the batsman with the fourth highest number of sixes against a particular opponent in the format.
So far, Lewis has hit 28 sixes against India.
The list for the same is led by Afghanistan's Hazratullah Zazai (31 against Ireland).
Yuzvendra Chahal concedes most sixes for India in T20Is
Indian spinner Yuzvendra Chahal had a bad day at the office today.
In the process, he became the Indian bowler to concede the most number of sixes in the format.
So far, he has conceded more than 60 sixes.
He is followed by Ravindra Jadeja (57), Ravichandran Ashwin (56), Hardik Pandya (35), Bhuvneshwar Kumar (32) and Krunal Pandya (29).

How did the match pan out?
Winning the toss, Windies skipper Kieron Pollard elected to bowl first.
India managed to post an average total of 170/7, courtesy Dube's quickfire knock of a 30-ball 54, while Kesrick Williams and Hayden Walsh claimed two wickets each.
In reply, Windies chased the total down without much trouble.
Simmons was the top scorer for Windies.
