Baseball Shooting


The 2017 congressional baseball shooting was the 10-minutes shootout carried out by an officer at Alexandria Police and a left-wing activist who shot Steve Scalise, Republican member of Congress and House Majority Whip while practicing for the annual Congressional Baseball Game. Others shot were Crystal Griner, a U.S. Capitol Police officer; Zack Barth, a congressional aide; and Matt Mika, a Tyson Foods lobbyist.
