Kawasaki W175 launched

Kawasaki has launched its W175 motorbike in India. The two-wheeler bears a retro-inspired look, offers a halogen lighting setup, and runs on a 177cc, single-cylinder engine.

Design

The Kawasaki W175 has a teardrop-shaped fuel tank, a single-piece seat, a side-mounted exhaust, a halogen lighting setup, a semi-digital instrument cluster, and wire-spoked wheels.

Engine

Kawasaki W175 is fueled by a 177cc, air-cooled engine that generates a maximum power of 12.8hp at 7,500rpm and a peak torque of 13.2Nm at 6,000rpm. The mill is paired with a five-speed gearbox.

Safety

To ensure the safety of the rider, the Kawasaki W175 is equipped with a disc brake on the front wheel, a drum brake on the rear rim, and single-channel ABS for improved handling on the roads.

Price

In India, the Kawasaki W175 retro-styled bike carries a starting price tag of Rs. 1.47 lakh and goes up to Rs. 1.49 lakh (both prices, ex-showroom). Bookings for the two-wheeler have started.
