Bhuvneshwar Kumar claimed figures of
1/16 in the first T20I against Ireland.
He now holds the record for most wickets
by a bowler in the powerplay in T20Is.


Bhuvneswhar now has 34 T20I scalps in powerplay at a jaw-dropping economy of 5.53. He broke a tie with Samuel Badree and Tim Southee (33 each).


Bhuvneshwar snapped six wickets in
the T20I series against South Africa.
He averaged just 14.17 and had the best economy rate by an Indian bowler (6.07).


Bhuvneshwar became the first Indian pacer to win the Player of the Series award (vs SA) more than once in T20Is. He also bagged the award in the 2018 T20I series in SA.


Bhuvneshwar is one of the three Indian bowlers to have taken more than 10 wickets in T20Is this year. He has taken
12 wickets from 10 T20Is at 17.16.
