Rohit unlocks a majestic feat

On Wednesday, Indian skipper Rohit Sharma became the first batter in T20Is to register 3,500 runs. He achieved the feat against Hong Kong in Asia Cup 2022 match.

Rohit is in an elite company

Rohit’s 13-ball 21 versus Hong Kong saw him race past 3,500 runs. He is one of the four batters with over 3,000 T20I runs - Martin Guptill (3,497), Virat Kohli (3,402), and Paul Stirling (3,011).


Rohit commands a daunting 31-6 win-loss record as Indian captain in T20Is. He needs a win to equal Virat’s tally.
