Conrad of Montferrat (Conrad I), King of Jerusalem, was assassinated in Tyre two days after an election confirmed his title to the throne. 

1758: Battle of Attock

Italian dictator Benito Mussolini was captured while trying to flee Italy and executed.

Muhammad Ali refused to be inducted into the US Army. The boxing champion was then stripped of his heavyweight title.
