Apple cider vinegar

Apple cider vinegar, rich in acetic acid, effectively soothes an itchy scalp when diluted in a 1:1 ratio with water and applied as part of a hair care routine.

Baking soda

Baking soda can alleviate skin irritation and inflammation. Mix 1/4 cup of baking soda with warm water to form a paste, apply on itchy areas, leave for some time, rinse, and then pat dry.

Wet wrap therapy (WWT)

Wet wrap therapy (WTT) involves soaking gauze in warm water and applying it to itchy skin. It offers soothing hydration and relief from irritation.

Peppermint oil

A 2012 study found that menthol-rich peppermint oil effectively treats itchy skin. Dilute a few drops in water and apply for relief.

Oatmeal baths can effectively soothe itchy skin, blisters, sunburns, and chickenpox by forming a protective layer on the skin. It helps retain moisture and relieve dryness.
