Cotton fabrics everywhere
Not just for clothes, cotton is a great, breathable fabric that you can use for bedsheets, curtains, sofa covers, etc.
Block out sunlight from morning to evening to keep the summer heat out. Use blackout curtains, if necessary.
Dip the hem of curtains in water and let the fabric soak it up. When it’s done, just turn on a fan and enjoy the cool breeze.
LEDs and fluorescent lights emit lesser heat than incandescent bulbs. Also, turn off electronic gadgets when they're not in use.
