Bengaluru: Man shot by police while trying to escape arrest
Bengaluru police shot and injured Ravi Prasad Reddy, 40, after he allegedly attacked officers during a spot visit near Bommasandra crematorium.
Reddy was wanted for the kidnapping and murder of businessman Balappa Reddy, who was abducted on November 6 and later found dead with his throat slit.
Police say the accused demanded ransom even after committing the murder.
Reddy is also accused of killing another man, Madesh

Both victims were linked to his compost trading and chit fund businesses worth around ₹7 crore.
During his arrest, police recovered an air pistol, metal detector, knives, and other tools from him.
