BJP candidate Antima Yadav with husband Sanjay and child missing
BJP candidate Antima Yadav, her husband Sanjay, and their child vanished right after voting in Baran district's Ward 16 on September 9.
Antima was last seen leaving the polling booth around 5pm. but since then, all three have been unreachable and their phones are switched off.
The sudden disappearance has left both their family and party members worried.
Police register kidnapping FIR, BJP searches
Antima's relatives believe the family was abducted while heading home after voting.
Police have registered a kidnapping case and are checking CCTV footage to track their movements.
BJP city president OP Pareta shared that the party is also trying to find Antima, noting the BJP's position in Ward 16 was considered strong and the party was hopeful of winning the seat, which makes her absence even more troubling.
The investigation is ongoing as authorities explore every possible lead.
