A 15-year-old girl in Bharatpur, Rajasthan, was reportedly abducted and assaulted by a youth while she was on her way to the market. The incident happened on June 9, and her father filed a police complaint after learning what had happened.

How the matter came to light

A neighbor grew suspicious after seeing three men hanging around a locked room and insisted on checking inside. Thanks to this quick thinking, the girl's father was alerted and took the matter to the police. According to the FIR, one suspect restrained and gagged the girl while others stood guard. The investigation is ongoing.
