Dalit man assaulted in Jhansi; 3 arrested, 1 on the run

In Jhansi, UP, a Dalit man named Harsh Valmiki was attacked after being lured away by a group on the pretext of a cigarette.
He was taken to a house, stripped, and beaten—an incident that's caused outrage online as videos spread.

What's happening now

Police have arrested three men: Sukrit, Anand Nayak, and Kanishk Ahirwar. One accused, Nishant Saxena (who allegedly lured Valmiki), is still missing.
The case has been filed under the Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita and SC/ST Act.
Police say they're still investigating why this happened and are working to catch everyone involved.
