India
A 23-year-old man named Salman has been arrested for the rape and murder of a 52-year-old mentally challenged woman in Delhi.
Her body was found behind Adarsh Nagar railway station on November 16.
Salman, already known to police for past crimes like robbery and kidnapping, followed the woman, who worked as a rag picker.
How police cracked the case
Police discovered the woman's body with deep wounds and recovered both her slippers and another pair matching Salman's.
CCTV footage showed Salman following her into a public toilet near the station.
