Delhi: 3 minor boys accused of sexually assaulting 9-year-old boy
Three boys—one 13 and two 16 years old—have been accused of luring and sexually assaulting a nine-year-old boy in Dev Nagar, central Delhi.
The incident was reported on November 4.
The accused reportedly threatened the child to keep quiet.
A relative filed a police complaint the same day, which led to their quick arrest.
All accused were detained on November 4
Police found the boys in Bapa Nagar after getting tips from the victim and locals.
All three were detained on November 4 and brought before the Juvenile Justice Board.
The case falls under Section 6 of the POCSO Act, which covers serious sexual offenses against children.
Child welfare officials are now supporting the victim with counseling while investigations continue; so far, none of the accused have any prior criminal record.
