Delhi-NCR dust storms lower visibility while IMD forecasts weekend rain
Delhi-NCR started Saturday morning with dusty skies and low visibility, thanks to dust storms that also made the air quality pretty rough.
While it was a bit cooler at 21 Celsius after the recent heat, stepping outside still wasn't ideal.
The good news? The weather is about to flip, with the IMD saying rain and thunderstorms are expected over the weekend.
Weekend thunderstorms, yellow alert in Delhi-NCR
Thunderstorms with rain are likely on Saturday, April 3, 2026, with temperatures reaching up to 33 Celsius and humidity staying high.
For Sunday, April 4, 2026 (yellow alert), expect lightning, gusty winds 30 to 40km per hour, and a slight dip in temperature to around 31 Celsius.
Showers could stick around into next week too, keeping things cooler and making early April feel a lot more pleasant than usual.
