Delhi woman accuses man of posing as Navy officer to exploit her

A Delhi woman says she was tricked by Md Jaseem, who pretended to be a Navy officer after they met on a matrimonial site earlier this year.
He built trust by interacting with her family members and promising marriage, but things took a turn when he allegedly exploited her between September and October 2025.

Discovery, threats, and police action

She realized the truth after another woman from Dubai reached out, revealing Jaseem was already in a relationship.
When confronted, he reportedly threatened to misuse her personal videos and documents.
Police have registered a case under Section 69 of the BNS and are investigating.
The woman has received medical support and counseling.
