Dense fog throws Mohali into chaos: school bus crash, flights hit

India

Thick fog in Mohali on Thursday caused a messy morning—two school busses from Delhi Public School and St Ezra School collided on the service road in front of Jamuna Apartments on the Kharar-Kurali highway.
The Delhi Public School driver was seriously hurt, while three students had minor injuries; everyone was taken to the hospital for care.
Police are now looking into what happened.

Flights canceled and diverted at Mohali airport

The same foggy conditions led to major flight troubles at Shaheed Bhagat Singh International Airport.
Several flights—including IndiGo's to Jaipur and Delhi, plus Air India's to Delhi—were canceled, while others were diverted.
If you're flying out soon, double-check your flight status before heading to the airport.
