Evacuated students from Iran return to Jammu and Kashmir

After days of uncertainty, 94 students from Jammu and Kashmir—part of a group evacuated from conflict-hit Iran—are back in India.
Their journey took them through Armenia and Doha before reaching Delhi, with the final leg to Kashmir arranged by Chief Minister Omar Abdullah.

Following criticism over poor reception and transport in Delhi, new sleeper busses were organized for the students after the Chief Minister stepped in.
While many had hoped for flights, student groups agreed to the improved bus option.
The evacuation continues, with hundreds more Indian students still waiting for safe passage as reports mention stress and injuries due to ongoing conflict.
