FIR filed after Abhijeet Dipke accused of threatening Latur teachers
CJP convenor Abhijeet Dipke, is facing an FIR after a teacher in Latur, Maharashtra, accused him of threatening teachers during a visit to Zilla Parishad Urdu School in Jawali.
This happened while Dipke was visiting schools and highlighting their problems as part of the CJP's ongoing School Thik Karo campaign, which aims to highlight problems in government schools.
Police register trespass intimidation defamation charges
According to the complaint, Dipke and his group entered the school without permission, disrupted classes, and questioned students while filming the proceedings, and then posted those videos online.
He's also accused of making claims about students being brought from another school just for his visit.
The police have registered charges under trespass, intimidation, and defamation laws, and started investigating.
