FSSAI sends more than 150 notices to major food companies
India
The Food Safety and Standards Authority of India (FSSAI) just sent more than 150 notices to major names like Nestle India, PepsiCo, McDonald's, and more.
The reason? Misleading ads, false claims, and label issues.
FSSAI says many companies are already working on fixing things after getting called out.
Five Domino's licenses suspended
Energy drink makers like Red Bull and Monster Energy were also hit with notices.
Even Amazon and Flipkart weren't spared; together they got 12 notices, and one Amazon warehouse lost its license.
Food chains like Domino's, KFC, Pizza Hut, and Costa Coffee faced action too; five Domino's licenses were actually suspended for not following the rules.
