Ghaziabad cashier robbed of ₹8L by bikers

In a wild turn of events on Monday afternoon, a cold storage cashier named Amit Kumar was ambushed in Ghaziabad while heading to the bank.
Three bikers threw chili powder at him under the Nehru Nagar flyover, leaving him temporarily blinded and causing his scooter to topple.
The attackers made off with his cash bag—₹8.15 lakh gone in seconds.

Police checking CCTV footage to track down the robbers

Kavi Nagar police have filed an FIR and are now checking CCTV footage to track down the robbers.
Amit mentioned he wasn't wearing a helmet and had all the cash in one bag, which might have made things easier for the thieves.
Deputy Commissioner Dhawal Jaiswal said they are investigating the case.
