India
On Friday, at least 26 students at Greenland Public School in Uttar Pradesh had trouble breathing after toxic smoke drifted in from a nearby fire where leaves and garbage were being burned.
The children were quickly taken to a local health center and got the care they needed. They are all OK now.
District magistrate says students are well
Officials made sure the students were checked out right away, with 11 sent to a bigger hospital just to be safe.
Local authorities visited both the school and hospitals to keep an eye on things.
The district magistrate said all students are back home and doing well, so things are under control now.
