Gujarat plane crash claims 4 lives on campus

An Air India Dreamliner crashed just after takeoff from Ahmedabad airport on Thursday, hitting the BJ Medical College campus. Four people lost their lives, including three resident doctors. The tragedy could have been much worse—most students had just left the mess hall minutes before the crash.

TL;DR

If crash had happened half hour later...many more lives could...

The plane's nose hit the doctors' quarters while its tail struck the mess hall, sparking chaos and a fireball. Dr. Ramkrishna, who survived, described immediate panic as Dhaval Gameti recounted emergency teams rushing in to rescue over 20 students trapped inside. Some narrowly escaped—like one doctor who skipped lunch that day—while sadly, a young tea stall worker didn't make it. Many said timing was everything; if the crash had happened even half an hour later, more lives might have been lost.
