IMD issues orange alert for heavy rain in Odisha, Chhattisgarh

Heads up if you're in Odisha or Chhattisgarh: IMD (India Meteorological Department) has issued an orange alert for Sunday, warning about heavy to very heavy rain in some spots.
Several other states, including Assam, Meghalaya, Uttar Pradesh (UP), West Bengal, and more are also on yellow alert for possible downpours.
Gusty thunderstorms in Andhra Pradesh
Thunderstorms with lightning and gusty winds of 40-50km/h are likely over Andhra Pradesh, Tamil Nadu, Bihar, and the Andaman and Nicobar Islands.
Coastal and southern states like Karnataka, Kerala, and Telangana should also brace for more rain.
Squally weather over the seas could bring winds up to 65km/h.
