India prioritizes Indian seafarers safety
MT Sibu, sailing under an Eritrean flag, had 16 Indians among its 20-person crew.
MV Lutuf, a Cameroon-flagged vessel, has six Indian crew members.
India has taken up the matter with the concerned authorities in Somalia.
As the High Commission put it, "We attach the highest importance to the safety and welfare of the Indian seafaring community."
