India monitors Saudi Turkey Pakistan defense pact, S Jaishankar says

India is keeping a close watch on a fresh defense pact between Pakistan, Turkey, and Saudi Arabia, signed in Mecca.

The deal means if one country is attacked, the others will step in, kind of like a regional "all for one" promise.

External Affairs Minister S Jaishankar said these moves factor into India's strategy and admitted, "In my calculus, everything counts."

Jaishankar sounded cautious about the pact's real impact, pointing out that all three countries already face their own military challenges.

He also mentioned that India's relationships with China and Pakistan aren't exactly friendly right now, so every new alliance gets weighed carefully.
