India receives possible 1st Iranian LPG imports in 7 years
India just got a much-needed boost to its cooking gas supply.
Two big LPG shipments, one from Sea Bird (44,000 tons) and another from the Indian vessel Green Sanvi (46,650 tons), made it safely through the risky Strait of Hormuz.
This perhaps is India's first Iranian energy import in seven years, thanks to a temporary break from US sanctions.
India repatriates over 1,320 sailors safely
After 2026 attacks disrupted shipping in the region, Indian maritime teams have been working hard to keep fuel flowing and protect crews.
Seven Indian-flagged LPG ships have crossed Hormuz despite tensions, and authorities are keeping a close eye on 17 more vessels and nearly 460 seafarers nearby.
Over 1,320 Indian sailors have also been brought home safely—showing just how seriously India is taking both its energy needs and sailor safety right now.
