Indian Army wraps up joint aerial drills near China border

India

The Indian Army's Spear Corps just wrapped up joint aerial drills with infantry units in Arunachal Pradesh, right by the China border.
Recently, attack helicopters teamed up with ground troops to demonstrate operational preparedness and strike capability in the challenging terrain of Arunachal Pradesh.
The Army made it clear: they're ready for action, day or night.

These exercises come ahead of a big tri-service exercise

These drills follow Exercise Vijay Raksha on November 6, where top commanders watched Assam Rifles and Army units test out defenses and Special Forces insertions from the air.
It's all building up to a big tri-service exercise—Poorvi Prachand Prahar—from November 11-15, bringing together the Army, Navy, and Air Force to boost teamwork across land, sea, and sky.

India is serious about modernizing its military muscle

All these exercises show India is serious about modernizing its military muscle in a sensitive region.
By mixing air power with boots on the ground—and using new tech—the Army is stepping up its game to stay prepared for any challenge along the eastern border.
