India
The Indian Navy just added INS Taragiri, a brand-new stealth frigate, to its fleet.
The ship was officially commissioned in Visakhapatnam with Defense Minister Rajnath Singh present, marking another step toward India building more of its own advanced defense technology.
INS Taragiri over 75% homegrown parts
Built mostly in India by Mazagon Dock Shipbuilders, this 6,670-ton frigate is designed to be hard to spot on radar and features high-tech weapons like supersonic missiles.
More than 75% of its parts are homegrown, thanks to the work of more than 200 local businesses, making it a real symbol of "made in India" defense power.
