Modi meets Abiy Ahmed and Anwar Ibrahim to discuss defense

Prime Minister Narendra Modi sat down with Ethiopian Prime Minister Abiy Ahmed Ali and Malaysian Prime Minister Anwar Ibrahim in New Delhi to talk about stepping up defense partnerships, investing in new sectors, and working together on emerging technology.
Both leaders were enthusiastic about teaming up for joint personnel training and defense procurement.
Anwar Ibrahim to visit Kerala soon
Modi met Ibrahim on the sidelines of the 18th BRICS Leaders's Summit, discussing trade and investment.
Ibrahim will also visit Kerala soon to deepen cooperation in trade and investment, the digital economy, talent and labor, education and regional connectivity.
Meanwhile, Ethiopia (now a BRICS member) has been exploring ways to expand defense collaboration with India.
