Mysuru's famous 11-day Dasara festival ended on Thursday with the colorful 'Jamboo Savari' procession.
The highlight? Goddess Chamundeshwari's idol riding in a massive golden howdah atop Abhimanyu the elephant, cheered on by crowds and watched by Chief Minister Siddaramaiah and other VIPs at Amba Vilas Palace.

The five-kilometer parade wasn't just about elephants—it was packed with cultural performances and creative floats from all over Karnataka.
Things got extra festive in the evening, as flower showers and 21 cannon blasts marked the goddess' arrival during "Kumbha Lagna."
Yaduveer Krishnadatta Chamaraja Wadiyar, representing Mysuru's royal family, led rituals that keep these centuries-old traditions alive—blending devotion and history into one epic celebration.
