Nitin Gadkari, after Mumbai traffic, urges India US tech partnership

These use over a single set of pillars and can fit metro lines, making city travel smoother and more sustainable.
He pointed to a proposed infrastructure program worth ₹50,000 crore in Pune as an example.
Looking back at older projects like the Bandra-Worli Sea Link, he admitted they're now limited by old technology, and said innovation plus collaboration is key for modern infrastructure.
