Pezeshkian meets Murmu in New Delhi over West Asia conflict

Iran's President Masoud Pezeshkian sat down with Indian President Droupadi Murmu in New Delhi this Saturday, as part of the 18th BRICS summit.
Their conversation zeroed in on the ongoing West Asia conflict.
This visit also followed Prime Minister Modi's meeting with Pezeshkian, where he discussed Iran's participation in BRICS from January 2024.
Prime Minister Modi stresses maritime security
Murmu and Pezeshkian stressed how important it is to keep West Asia peaceful and stable.
Earlier, Prime Minister Modi highlighted maritime security and safe navigation as priorities, saying India is committed to lasting peace and teamwork with Iran, building on discussions from the SCO Summit in Bishkek.
