PM Modi flags off 1st Vande Bharat train from Kerala

Big news for travelers—PM Modi just launched the Ernakulam-KSR Bengaluru Vande Bharat Express, Southern Railway's first semi-high-speed interstate train.
Starting November 9, this new service links Kerala, Tamil Nadu, and Karnataka, making it easier to move between these states for business, education, tourism, pilgrimage, and healthcare.

Train covers the journey in just 8 hours and 40 minutes

This train covers the 583-km journey in just eight hours and 40 minutes and runs six days a week (except Wednesdays), stopping at major cities like Thrissur, Palakkad, and Coimbatore.
Tickets start at ₹1,095 for chair car seats.
