PM Narendra Modi meets Abiy Ahmed Ali to deepen cooperation

Prime Minister Narendra Modi sat down with Ethiopian Prime Minister Abiy Ahmed Ali this week to boost their countries' partnership.
They talked about working together on economic cooperation, defense, and building skills, building on Modi's visit to Addis Ababa last December that kicked off deeper cooperation.

Modi gave a shout-out to Ethiopia for joining the 18th BRICS summit, saying it helps push forward the interests of the Global South.
He also met with leaders from Russia, Iran, and the United Nations, where he discussed ongoing conflicts in West Asia and Ukraine.
