Rajnath Singh to attend ADMM Plus meet in Malaysia

India's Defence Minister Rajnath Singh is set to join the ASEAN Defence Ministers Meeting Plus (ADMM Plus) on October 30, 2025, in Kuala Lumpur.
Leaders from ASEAN nations, China, and the US will be there too, with everyone focusing on regional security and building stronger partnerships.

Singh's previous meetings with Chinese officials

Singh has met with Chinese officials to ease border tensions and keep things stable in the region.
Last November, he discussed de-escalation and root causes of disputes with then-Chinese Defense Minister Li Shangfu in Laos.
More recently, at the SCO summit in June 2025, he met Chinese Defense Minister Dong Jun in Qingdao, pushing for a lasting solution to boundary issues through formal demarcation of the Sino-Indian border.
