Saturday landslide limits Mussoorie-Dehradun road to cars and small vehicles
India
A landslide on Saturday damaged part of the Mussoorie-Dehradun road, so only cars and small vehicles can get through right now.
Traffic is moving slowly with long lines, and there is a risk of further landslides because of the ongoing monsoon rains.
Mussoorie-Dehradun road repairs 8-10 days
Arvind, the engineer, says fixing the road will take about eight to 10 days; until then, heavy vehicles have to wait.
SDM Rahul Anand says alternate routes are open and officials are working round-the-clock for safety.
Local resident Deepak pointed out that spots like Kolukhet Pani Wala Bend are still risky this season.
If you're heading that way, expect delays and drive carefully!
