Telangana heat wave: 14 districts record temperatures above 40 Celsius
Telangana is in the grip of a serious heat wave, with several districts topping 41 Celsius.
Madugulapally in Nalgonda was the hottest at 41.4 Celsius, closely followed by Cherla (41.3 Celsius), and Konijerla (41.0 Celsius).
In total, 14 districts crossed the 40 Celsius mark between Friday and Saturday morning.
IMD forecasts little change in Telangana
Other hot spots included Khammam. Urban areas like Hyderabad were a bit cooler but still steamy: Hyderabad hit 38.5 Celsius, while Rangareddy reached 39.8 Celsius.
The IMD says there won't be much change in temperatures for the next three days, though some places might see thunderstorms or gusty winds. Nights are expected to stay normal or even slightly cooler through June, offering at least a little relief from those scorching afternoons!
