Tragic consequence of academic pressure in Sangli

A heartbreaking incident took place in Maharashtra's Sangli district, where a 16-year-old girl named Sadhana lost her life after an argument with her father over her grades.
Her father, Dhondiram Bhosale—a school teacher—allegedly attacked her during the heated exchange.
The incident happened at home, with Sadhana's mother and brother present.

Father arrested

Despite being rushed to the hospital, Sadhana couldn't survive her injuries.
Following the tragedy, her mother filed a complaint and Bhosale was arrested.
Senior Inspector Vinay Bahir confirmed the arrest and said police are still looking into what led up to this devastating event.
