Trio arrested in Gujarat for ₹13 crore jewellery heist

Mumbai Police have arrested three men—including a father and son—for allegedly stealing 13kg of gold jewelry worth over ₹13 crore.
The main accused, 19-year-old Jignesh Kuchdiya, worked at J P Export Gold and Diamond Jewellery and reportedly vanished with the loot while on a work trip in Mumbai.
His father, Nathabhai Kuchdiya, and friend Yash Odedara were also caught in Gujarat.

TL;DR

Victim filed police complaint after suspect disappeared

Jignesh was trusted with a bag of jewelry by his colleague Ajay Ghagda while they stayed at the company's flat in Borivali. But when Jignesh disappeared with it and didn't return, Ajay filed a police complaint.
A special team tracked the trio to Gujarat, stopping them as they traveled by car.
Police managed to recover about ₹11 crore worth of jewelry so far, but the investigation is still on to figure out if anyone else was involved or if more jewelry can be found.
