    What's the story

Mahindra is gearing up to introduce a new 'Blaze Edition' of its XUV700 model in India.

The premium SUV is likely to be launched in the coming days and will be priced at a starting rate of ₹24.24 lakh (ex-showroom).

The Blaze Edition will be priced ₹25,000 higher than the standard AX7 L trim it is based on.

This special edition XUV700, limited to just 2,500 units, will feature a distinctive matte red paint scheme with several blacked-out components.

Unique design features of the XUV700 Blaze Edition

The XUV700 Blaze Edition will sport a unique matte red paint finish, a first for cars or SUVs on Indian roads.

This red is contrasted by blacked-out elements including the roof, wing mirrors, grille, alloy wheels, and the A-, B-, and C-pillars.

The vehicle will also feature 'Blaze Edition' badges on the tailgate and front fenders. Other than these cosmetic changes, the design will be the same as the regular XUV700.

    Specifications

Interior and powertrain options of XUV700 Blaze Edition

Inside the XUV700 Blaze Edition, an all-black interior will be available, highlighted by contrasting red stitching on the upholstery and red accents on the AC vents and center console.

The car will come fully equipped with all features that the XUV700 has to offer.

It will be available with three powertrain options in a 7-seater configuration only.

The petrol variant will only have an automatic gearbox option while both manual and automatic options will be available for diesel variants.
