What's the story

Royal Enfield has reported its best-ever festive season sales in 2025, with over 2.49 lakh motorcycles sold during September and October. The figure is a whopping 26% increase from the same period last year. In October alone, the company sold 1.25 lakh units, a 13% rise compared to October last year, marking a major milestone for the brand in India and abroad.

Sales breakdown

A look at October sales

Out of the total October sales, 8,107 units were exported. This shows that Royal Enfield's classic appeal is still winning hearts not just in India but also across the globe. In the domestic market, Royal Enfield's sales grew by 15% from last year's 1,01,886 units to this year's 1,16,844 units in October.

Market expansion

Year-to-date exports up by 49%

Despite a slight dip in exports, the company's year-to-date exports have jumped by 49%, indicating strong demand for its motorcycles in the international markets. The company has also launched new cultural and digital initiatives, such as a Himalayan festival and a partnership with Amazon India to make its bikes more accessible online.

Future plans

Exciting times ahead for Royal Enfield

B. Govindarajan, Managing Director of Eicher Motors Ltd., and CEO of Royal Enfield, called this festive season "truly special." He said it reflects the growing love riders have for their brand and motorcycles. Govindarajan also hinted at exciting times ahead with plans to showcase new motorcycles at EICMA, the world's biggest motorcycle show, and celebrate riding spirit at Motoverse—an annual community event.
