The performance-oriented Skoda RS 245 has started arriving at dealership yards in India, thereby hinting that Skoda is planning to commence the deliveries of the car once the COVID-19 pandemic situation comes under control. The Octavia RS 245 gets an eye-catching look featuring a glossy black grille, trapezoidal LED headlamps with mounted fog lights, dual exhausts, and a muscular front bonnet with sculpted lines. The car features an impressive side profile with angular-looking alloy wheels as well as blacked-out wheels and indicator-mounted ORVMs. Moreover, it has a wheelbase of 2,688mm and a boot space of 590 liters.
Inside the cabin
The 2020 Octavia RS 245 comes with a five-seater cabin featuring a 12-way power-adjustable driver's seat, leather upholstery, ambient lighting, automatic climate control, and a three-spoke multifunctional steering wheel. The 2020 Skoda RS 245 is priced at Rs. 36 lakh in India. The Czech automaker has brought the performance-oriented sedan to our shores via CBU (completely built unit) route and will only sell 200 units in the country. At this price point, it competes against Audi A4, BMW 3 Series, and Jaguar XE.
