AFGI research starts lab-as-a-service AI lab for big companies
AFGI Research just started working on building an AI Lab focused on making finance smarter for big companies.
With teams in India, Singapore, and now planning to hire in the US as it scales, they're using a "lab-as-a-service" model, basically teaming up with organizations to build custom AI tools that actually fit their needs.
The lab is all about applied research and real-world impact, not just theory.
Ritik Vijayvergiya founded AFGI
Founded by Ritik Vijayvergiya (former WorldQuant vice president and IIT Delhi graduate), AFGI takes inspiration from Sakana AI's small-team approach but tailors it for finance.
Their Algorithmic Superintelligence Labs project is already being actively used by researchers at UC Berkeley and technology companies such as AMD.
Now, with research teams in India and Singapore and planning to hire in the United States as it scales, they're aiming to bring fresh ideas (and practical AI) to the financial world.
